How to View PDF Files on a PS3

The PlayStation 3 is capable of playing high definition games, movies and music, and it allows you to view photos as well. However, there are certain file formats the PS3 cannot natively recognize. PDF files are among the most versatile file formats in the computer world, but the files need a bit of adjusting before they can be viewed on the PS3. Converting the PDF file to an alternate format, one which the PS3 can display, will allow you to share and store the files on your PS3 system.
Convert to .JPG with Zamzar
Open the Zamzar website.
Press the "Browse" button in the "Step 1" box and select the file you want to convert.
Select "JPG" from the dropdown menu in the "Step 2" box.
Enter the email address you would like the file sent to in the "Step 3" box.
Press the "Convert" button in the "Step 4" box.
Open your email and download the attachment.
Convert to .JPG with Convert to Image
Open the Convert to Image website.
Click the “Browse” button and locate the file you want to convert. Press “Open.”
Click the “Convert and Download” button and wait while it converts the file.
Press the “Download” button and select the “Save As” option. Press “OK.” It will download a .zip file
Locate the file in the download folder and open it. The file will unzip and save to the same location.
Convert to .JPG with Universal Document Converter
Download the Universal Document Converter from the PDF to JPG website and install the program.
Open the PDF file you want to convert in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Open the “File” menu and select the “Print” option.
Click the dropdown menu to select the printer and click on the Universal Document Printer.
Click the “Properties” button to open a new window.
Click on the “Load Settings” button to bring up a new window. Select the file titled “PDF to JPEG.xml” and click “Open.”
Click “OK” in the print window to start the conversion process.
Wait for the conversion process to finish. It will save the file to the “My Documents/UDC Output Files” folder.
Transfer to USB
Insert the USB drive into your computer and open it.
Right click in the USB drive folder and select "New" and click "Folder." Name this folder "PHOTOS" in all caps.
Copy the .jpg file into the "PHOTOS" folder and remove the USB drive from the computer.
View on the PS3
Insert the USB drive into the PS3.
Navigate to the "Photos" section and select the USB drive.
Highlight the file you copied and press "X" to view it in full screen.
