Toothpaste
Plastic polish
The Xbox is a video game console from Microsoft. The Xbox 360 is the second most popular video game console, only trailing the Nintendo Wii. The machines, like compact computers, are fragile. Moving or dropping them can result in cosmetic scratches or worse. If your Xbox has been roughed up a bit, you can remove scratches from the exterior casing using a few tricks to remove scratches from plastic.
Dab a bit of furniture polish on to a soft cloth. Rub the furniture polish into the scratches on the Xbox in circular motions.
Apply a small amount of toothpaste directly to the scratches with your finger. Work the toothpaste into the scratches, scooping away any extra. Let the toothpaste dry for 15 minutes and use a soft cloth to rub out the scratches.
Use plastic polish to remove the scratches from the Xbox. Dab the plastic polish on a soft cloth and rub it into the scratches.
Tips
Any of these steps may require more than one application to completely remove the scratches. Toothpaste can also be used to remove scratches from the Xbox game discs.
Warnings
Be sure to unplug the Xbox before trying any of the scratch removing remedies.
