Deleting your MySpace profile is simple, as long as you have access to your account. If you have account access, you can delete your MySpace profile with a few clicks of the mouse. You can still delete your profile if you cannot access your account. If you do not have access to your original-registered email, and do not remember your password, you'll need to create a MySpace "Salute" in order to cancel your account.

Write your MySpace profile URL, or your friend ID, on a white sheet of paper. Ask someone to take a digital photo of you holding the sheet of paper. The photo needs to clearly show your face. Upload the photo to your computer.

Visit MySpace.com. Scroll down and click "Help," and then click "Contact MySpace." Type your email address into the form (it doesn't have to be the same email used for Myspace), and then type your name. Select "Your Account" as the category, and then select "Delete Profile" as the subcategory. Type a subject line; something like "Delete My Profile" should be fine.

Explain that you want to delete your MySpace profile in the "Question" box. Explain that you do not have access to your MySpace registered email, nor do you know your password.

Click "Attach File" and select "Browse." Choose your picture to attach it to your message. Click "Send Message" to send your request to MySpace. The representative should email you within a few days, confirming that your account has been deleted. The representative may require additional information.

Tips

Your MySpace profile URL is the address someone types to directly visit your profile. You chose a custom profile URL at registration.
