Yahoo! Mail is a leading email host that allows users to send, store and receive emails from anyone with an email address. In addition to email, users can also participate in Yahoo! Chat, store contacts in an online address book, organize their emails into various folders, and view news on the main portion of the Yahoo! website. Creating and sending a new email is easy in Yahoo! and once you get the hang of it, it will be second nature.
Enter your username and password to log into your Yahoo! email account by visiting the Yahoo! Mail website (see Resources section). Once logged in, you'll arrive at your home screen.
Click the tab that says "New" in the upper-left side of the Yahoo! Mail window. Wait for a drop-down menu to pop up.
Select "Email Message" from the drop-down menu. A new window will pop up and you can compose your email here.
Enter the email address of the recipient and a subject line, and type or insert the message you'd like to send.
Click "Attach" in the top-right corner of the screen to attach any files (optional). A window will pop up, allowing you to locate the files you wish to attach. Double-click your file and wait for the file to attach to your email. You can attach one file at a time in Yahoo! Mail.
Click "Send" in the top-right corner of the screen when you are finished composing your email. Once you click send, you'll be taken to a new window that notifies you that the email has been successfully sent.
