On eBay, the online marketplace, sellers can list items and buyers can purchase them. As a seller, you have the option of determining how long you want to list an item for. There are several reasons why you may want to remove an item that you listed before the end of the listing. For example, you may lose the item or suddenly decide that you no longer wish to sell the item. Fortunately, eBay allows you to easily remove it, but only if it is more than 12 hours prior to the end of the listing.

Sign into your eBay account.

Go to the "End My Listing Early" homepage using the link in Resources.

Type the "item number" associated with the product you want to remove and click "Continue." The "item number" is on your listing as well as in the listing confirmation email you received.

Click on "Cancel bids and end listing early" and then click "Continue."

Select the reason you want to end the listing early and click "Continue." Your item will be removed from eBay immediately.
