Playing a Nintendo Wii is an enjoyable experience, and there may be times when you want to share that experience with others. Whether showing off to friends, or recording videos to illustrate a specific feat, hooking the Nintendo Wii to a VCR allows you to record your gameplay on a VCR tape.
Hook up the Wii's power cord and audio/video cable in the back of the Wii. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
Plug the Wii's audio/video cable into the "Audio In" and "Video In" sockets on the VCR. Match the cable colors with the input colors: yellow with yellow, white with white and red with red.
Plug one end of the RCA (non-Wii) audio/video cable into the "Audio Out" and "Video Out" ports on the VCR. Match the cable colors with the input colors: yellow with yellow, white with white and red with red.
Plug the other end of the RCA audio/video cable into the "Audio In" and "Video In" sockets on the television. Match the cable colors with the input colors.
