The lights on the remote will flash after each entry and will return to a steady light when you are done. If you do not know the code, you can look it up by device model number at dishnetwork.com or you can contact customer care to look up your device and provide the code over the phone.

Press the pound (#) button on your remote once you have entered your device code. The mode light will flash 3 times if you have entered a valid and working device code.
