How to Change a Password in AIX

AIX is an operating system created by IBM. Passwords are particular codes of data that help keep user account information private.

Open AIX and bring up the command line.

Type "chpasswd".

Then, type the username password pair in the following manner "user1:passwd1". The information you put in "passwd1" is the new password for the user.
