Sometimes a camera phone just doesn’t cooperate, and we end up deleting photos that we really wanted to keep. There is a programming solution, however, with two caveats: Some cell phone manufacturers block this software from working, and the software has a free trial download for your initial use but then requires a fee for further use.
Download PhotoRescue Pro from the link found in the resources section.
Connect your cell phone to your computer via the USB cable provided with the phone.
Click on the icon to run the PhotoRescue Pro program.
Select the type of files you wish to recover from your cell phone. Click “Next” to begin the scan.
A dialogue box will appear showing what files were recovered, if any. Indicate the location you would like the files saved to.
Click “Finish” and the recovered files, provided there were any, will be in the file folder you indicated.
