Google is a search engine that allows you to search for your favorite Internet content including images, videos, news and shopping. By default, Google keeps a record of all your searches. This convenience allows you to perform the same searches again quickly. Unfortunately, this feature also preys on your privacy and leaves your search history exposed to other users. Protect your privacy by clearing your Google search history on your laptop.
From The Google Toolbar
Launch your Web browser (for example, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox).
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Google toolbar window. You should see a list of your recent searches.
Scroll down the list and click the "Clear History" link to erase your Google search history.
From The Web Browser Menu
Launch your web browser and click the "Tools" menu.
Click "Delete browsing history" or "Clear recent history" depending on your Web browser. This launches the browser history management console.
Select the web categories you want to delete files from. You can select categories such as Temporary Internet files, cache, passwords and auto-fill forms. Click "Delete" or "Clear" to delete the Google search history including all Web history.
