How to Download Rockband Songs on Wii

Rock Band is a four player rhythm based video game for the Nintendo Wii. Rock Band lets up to four players start their own band or mimic one of their favorites using instrument peripherals that can be connected to the system. The included song list is long and varied, however, if you have a Wii connected to Nintendo's Wi-Fi network, you can take advantage of DLC (Downloadable Content) available for Rock Band. Some songs are free while others can cost up to $2. You do not pay directly; instead, you purchase Wii points which can be used to download DLC, among other items (e,g, full games.) You will also need an SD card to store the songs that you download. You can download as many songs as your SD card will hold.
Purchasing Nintendo Points
Turn on the Wii.
Select "Wii Shop Channel" from the channel menu.
Agree to the user agreement by selecting "I Agree."
Select "Start Shopping." Select the "Add Nintendo Points" button. Select "Buy points with a credit card."
Choose the desired amount of points you want to buy.
Select the credit card type. Enter your personal information.
Review the order and select the "Yes" button to confirm your purchase.
Downloading songs from Rock Band store
Insert the SD card into the SD slot located on the side of the Wii.
Start the Rock Band game.
Select "Rock Band Music Store" from the game's main menu.
Accept the user agreement.
Browse the available content. Select the "Download" button next to all of the songs you want to download. They will be added automatically to the games song directory.
