A webcast is a live video feed that is presented over the Internet and streamed to your computer. Webcasts are usually presented through your computers video player (depending on the media type), however, some webcast use integrated web players for the stream. Using a webcast recording program, such as WM Recorder, users can record a webcast from any source such as a video player or website. The video can then be viewed or edited as the user sees fit.
Download WM Recorder. Double click the exe. file to begin installation. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation on your machine.
Open WM Recorder.
Click the "Settings" button. Click "Set Recording Folder". Select the output destination. This is where all of your recorded files will be placed after the recording is stopped.
Set the mode to "ADA." Put "Auto On." This will set the program to record automatically when you bring up a stream.
Open the webcast you want to record. It does not matter if it is inside your browser or in a video player, it will begin recording automatically after a few seconds.
Click the "Stop" button to end the recording. The recorded file will be placed in the output folder.
Tips
If you do not like WM Recorder, another webcast recording program is Streaming Video Recorder, which offers similar functionality.
