You'll need the free Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer to play most titles. If you don't have it already, you'll be prompted to install it on the spot when you try to play a game. It's quick and easy, and you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Shockwave.com, which has been around since 1998, offers gamers more than 450 games to choose from. Popular games like Glenn Martin, DDS: Dental Adventure, Burnin' Rubber 3 and Rumble Town Racing top Shockwave's massive library. You can download a few titles. Games are categorized by genre. You can create an animated avatar to represent yourself in multiplayer games.

Some of the bigger sites like MSN and Yahoo! offer a wide selection of free games. MSN has popular titles such as Bejeweled 2, UNO and Peggle for online play or download. On Yahoo!, you'll find games like Busy Bistro, Monopoly and DinerTown Detective along with countless other games.
