How to Set Up Logitech Keyboard Functions
By Tyson Simmons

Many Logitech keyboards include special buttons and keys that perform functions like turning the computer on and off, controlling the volume and starting different applications. However, when the keyboard is installed, these buttons and keys are not set to any default. Usually, the functions must be set manually.
Place the CD that came with the Logitech keyboard into your computer's CD drive. Allow the computer several seconds to load the contents of the disc.
Follow the pop-up on-screen instructions to install the keyboard's set drivers.
Plug the keyboard into the computer.
Navigate to "Control Panel" in the "Start" menu of Windows. Then double-click on the "Keyboard" icon.
Click on the "Buttons" tab in the keyboard window. This will take you to a screen where you can set the functions of custom buttons on the keyboard.
Click on each button setting and use the on-screen options to set functions for each of them. Also, if desired, set custom functions for the "F1" through "F12" keys and others.
Tips
Thoroughly consider how you will use the different keys and buttons on the keyboard before re-mapping them.
Warnings
Be sure not to replace key functions that you use often with new functions.
