How to TEXT Pictures from your iPHONE

by Contributor ; Updated September 28, 2017

Apple makes it simple to send pictures by text message from the iPhone. Whether you've taken them yourself using the iPhone camera or copied them over from your computer, you can text any photo in your "Photos" app on the iPhone.

Tap the "Photos" icon on the home screen of the iPhone.

Select "Camera Roll" or any other albums that appear on the screen.

Tap the photo you want to send via text message.

Tap the action icon in the lower-left corner of the screen. The icon resembles a box with an arrow pointing to the right.

Select "MMS" from the available options. Begin typing the name of the recipient in the "To" field. The iPhone generates a drop-down list of contacts as you type. Choose the recipient.

Tap in the window below the photo and type a message if desired. Press "Send."
