How to Use Printkey 2000

While you can use the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard to capture images of your desktop, Printkey takes desktop capture a step further. The program includes a wide palette of tools and options to help you tweak your image capture. And without a little orientation, the program's features may seem a bit overwhelming--find out how you can hit the ground running with Printkey 2000 and start capturing your desktop with the program.
Launch Printkey 2000. Click on the "Retangle" button at the top of the program. Printkey 2000 will disappear into the taskbar. Drag the rectangle tools to select and capture a rectangular portion of your screen.
Click on the "Object" button to capture desktop object--simply click on the area you'd like to capture.
Use the options under the "Picture Options" heading to tweak your captured image. Select the check box options, like "Inversed Colors" and "Sharpen," to add effects to the image. Use the sliders under the heading to adjust the image's attributes, like "Brightness" and "Contrast."
Click on the "Printer Options" tab. Use the options under the Printer Options heading to select your print layout, either portrait or landscape mode. Click on the drop-down menu labeled "Selected Printer," to choose a printer for Printkey 2000.
Click on the "Print" button at the top of the program to print out your screen capture.
