Blogger, also known as Blogspot, is a blogging platform owned by Google that lets you publish pictures, videos and text online. Each Blogger account can be accessed with a Google Account username and password. Blogger on the iPad is a simple app that lets you access your past blog posts and publish new ones from your tablet. While you can't add videos directly from the iPad, you can include pictures, tags and location information when you publish a post. You can also access and edit old posts from your iPad.

Step 1

Tap the App Store icon on your iPad to open the App Store. Search for "Blogger" and tap "Download" to install the free app. Enter your Apple ID and password if prompted.

Step 2

Tap the Blogger icon to open the app.

Step 3

Tap "Sign In" and enter your Google Account username and password to access your blogs. If you have more than one, tap the one you want to use.

Step 4

Tap the pencil icon to create a new blog post. Type in the text boxes to include a title, the body and tags.

Step 5

Tap the camera icon to take a photo to add or the picture icon to add a picture already on your iPad.

Step 6

Press the compass icon to set a location for your blog post.

Step 7

Tap the "Publish" button at the top right to publish your post. Click "Publish" again from the pop-up dialog.

Step 8

Tap on the title of a blog post on the main blogger screen to make changes from your iPad. Click "Edit," "View" or "Delete" from the menu that opens.
