Game files can become corrupt for a wide variety of reasons. Fortunately, Windows 7 has built-in functionality that can help you repair these files. If this tactic fails, you will simply have to reinstall the game.
Click “Start.” Open “Control Panel” and click “Programs.”
Click “Programs and Features.” Select the game that you wish to repair.
Click “Change or Repair.” Enter your administrator password when prompted. Follow the on-screen instructions to repair your corrupt game file.
