How to Set Time on a Casio Hunting Watch

The Casio PAS410B-5V is a digital watch designed to provide information useful in determining the optimal times for hunting or fishing, based on when fish or game is likely to be feeding. The watch uses several factors in its calculations, including the current time, date and user's location. As such, for the device to provide accurate information, users must first input the proper data into the watch's memory, using four buttons set along the periphery of the watch face.

Find the "D" button, located by the lower left corner of the watch face. Press the button repeatedly until the timekeeping display appears, showing the watch's current time, date and day of the week settings.

Find the "A" button, located by the upper left corner of the watch face. Hold down the "A" button until the seconds setting on the timekeeping display starts to flash. Find the "E" button, located by the lower right corner of the watch face. Press the "E" button to reset the seconds setting to zero.

Press the "D" button to proceed to the hours setting. Find the "B" button, located by the upper-right corner of the watch face. Use the "B" and "E" buttons to input the appropriate hour setting. Press the "D" button to proceed to the minutes setting. Use the "B" and "E buttons to input the appropriate minute setting.

Press the "D" button to proceed to the time format setting. Press the "E" button to toggle between 12- and 24-hour time format modes. Select the desired time format mode.

Press the "D" button to proceed to the year setting. Use the "B" and "E" buttons to input the current year. Press the "D" button to proceed to the month setting and input the current month in a similar manner. Press the "D" button and repeat with the day setting.

Press the "A" button to proceed to the GMT differential setting. Refer to your GMT differential map or chart to determine the appropriate differential for your location. Use the "B" and "E" buttons to input the differential.

Press the "D" button to access the latitude and longitude settings. Press or hold down the "B" button to change the latitude setting. Press or hold down the "E" button to change the longitude setting. Press the "A" button to confirm all of your settings.
