How to Set Up a Belkin Wireless Travel Mouse
By Greg Burosh
The Belkin Wireless Travel Mouse can be an asset to anyone frustrated by a laptop's touch pad. You don't have to be a computer expert to install it. Everything you need to set up the wireless mouse is included in the package (even the AAA batteries). You can be effortlessly tooling around your laptop in just a few short steps.
Grasp the mouse in your hands. Pull the lid away from the mouse to reveal the battery compartment. Slide open the top compartment and insert the two AAA batteries. Replace the lid when finished.
Plug the USB dongle into an open port on your computer. Wait for the device driver to automatically download. A red LED light will begin flashing on the dongle if everything is working properly.
Locate the "On/Off" switch on the bottom right side of the mouse. Flip it to "On."
Sync the mouse to your computer by pressing and holding the "Sync" button on the bottom left side of the mouse. Quickly press and hold the "Sync" button on the USB dongle. Hold both buttons until the red LED light on the dongle begins to flash rapidly. Let go of the buttons. The Belkin Wireless Travel Mouse is now ready to use.
