To get the best angle for a picture, you might turn your digital camera sideways or upside down; however, the photos may come out this way too when you upload them to your computer. Correcting upside-down digital photos in a Microsoft Windows system is simple, and requires no third party software or special editing skills. All you need are your digital photos, the Windows Explorer interface that comes with the operating system and a Windows keyboard.
Press the Windows key and E simultaneously -- the Windows key is located on the left side of the keyboard between "Ctrl" and "Alt."
Double-click on the drive letter containing your photos.
Double-click on the appropriate folders and sub-folders until you get to the folder containing your photos.
Right-click on an upside-down photo and click "Rotate clockwise" or "Rotate counter-clockwise" as appropriate. Repeat this step until the photo is right-side up.
