How to Reset An RCA MP3 Player

by Lindsay Howell

Besides TVs, RCA also builds other electronic equipment, including MP3 players. MP3 players play digital music files encoded in the ".MP3" format. RCA MP3 players have all sorts of options that are changeable, such as changing the menu's language to Spanish. When someone changes with these options and you cannot figure out how to change them back, the options can be reset to their factory settings.

Turn the RCA MP3 player off by pressing the power button.

Check the locking switch on the side of the RCA MP3 player and make sure it is in the "unlocked" position.

Hold the "Menu" button for 10 seconds. The player's settings will be reset.
