How to Renew Norton AntiVirusby Kefa Olang
Norton AntiVirus is a security program built to protect computers from malicious programs such as viruses, Trojan horses, worms, and more. It monitors computer activity in real time and alerts you of possible threats. A subscription expires after a year and then you have to renew it to receive new virus and spyware updates as well as other vital security tools to protect your computer from new threats. Purchasing a new subscription and renewing your Norton Antivirus program is simple.
Go to the Symantec software upgrades and renewal page (see Resources).
Select "Norton AntiVirus" under "Subscription renewals" and select the version you want to renew. Click "Continue."
Click "Add to cart" under "Please just renew my subscription." Enter your name, address and billing information and click "Complete order." Review the order and finalize it. A confirmation email including a new subscription key is sent to you.
Open Norton AntiVirus and click "Live update." Click "Update everything now" and click "Subscribe."
Type the 9-digit subscription key sent on the confirmation email and click "OK." Click "Update everything now." Available updates will automatically be downloaded and installed from the Symantec server.
