How to Reinstall the Taskbarby Chad Buleen
The taskbar is at the bottom of your Microsoft Windows operating system screen. It includes easy access to open programs, shortcut icons to programs that you access frequently and system icons, such as the volume adjuster, Internet connection indicator and language indicator. You cannot uninstall the taskbar; however, you can hide it. Therefore, if you have a missing taskbar, you do not need to reinstall it, you simply need to un-hide it.
Click "Start" and select "Control Panel."
Click "Appearance and Personalization."
Click "Taskbar and Start Menu."
Click the "Taskbar" tab if it is not already selected.
Click the "Auto-hide the taskbar" box to clear the check. Click "OK." The taskbar will no longer be hidden.
- check Even when hidden, scroll your mouse to where the taskbar should be and it will appear while your mouse hovers over the bottom of the page.
