How to Put My Pictures as a Screensaver

By Travis Larson

While you sit at your desk working on other projects, you may glance over at your computer and see the same screen saver for hours a day. If you are tired of the standard screen savers, create a one-of-a-kind screen saver using your favorite photos. Windows lets you create a screen saver from photos without having to download an additional application.

Click "Start" in the Windows task bar and type "screen saver" in the search box. A list of search results is displayed.

Click "Change Screen Saver" in the list of search results to open the screen saver settings window.

Click "Photos" in the "Screen Saver" drop-down menu in the screen saver settings window.

Click "Settings," then click "Browse" to select the folder that contains your photos.

Highlight the folder that contains your photos and click "OK."

Click a speed in the "Slide Show Speed" drop-down menu, then click "Save."
