Windows Vista is the latest operating system released by Microsoft. Although Adobe Acrobat is the most well-known PDF reader, there have been major compatibility issues reported with Vista. Therefore, to open a PDF file in Vista, it is recommended that you use a different software that works much more effectively than Acrobat.

1

Open your web browser and navigate to Fox It (see Resources) This is a link that will allow you to download a PDF viewer that is compatible with Vista.

2

Download and install the Fox It PDF viewer software.

3

Open the Fox It program and load a PDF file. Click "File" > "Open" and choose the file that you wish to view.

4

Read the file by scrolling down and viewing the file.
