How to Find Your Metro PCS Email Address (6 Steps)

MetroPCS phones, like many other cell phones, have email addresses assigned to them that you can use to send text messages from any email program. Since MetroPCS uses two different domains -- mymetropcs.com and metropcs.sms.us -- the best way to figure out which one will work with your phone is to send a couple of email messages from a computer or from the email program on your phone. The one that arrives is the one that corresponds to your email address.
Step 1
Open your email program and create a new message.
Step 2
Enter XXX@mymetropcs.com in the To: line, replacing XXX with your ten-digit phone number. For instance, if your number is (123) 456-7890, the email address to enter would be 1234567890@mymetropcs.com.
Step 3
Put something in the body or subject of the message that will let you recognize it. For instance you might write "mymetro email" in the message.
Step 4
Click the "Send" button in your email program.
Step 5
Send another email to XXX@metropcs.sms.us, replacing XXX with your phone number and placing a note like "sms address" in the subject or body.
Step 6
Determine your Metro PCS email address by looking at which message arrives in your phone's text message Inbox.
