How to Make a Web Page Smaller to Print

by Liam Walter

Knowing how to make a web page smaller to print may save you large amounts of time. Many users copy and paste web pages into other programs such as Microsoft Word or Photoshop because they do not know how to change the size of the print. All browsers come with default settings that make pages print to a specific size. Turning this option off is relatively easy and only takes a few steps.

Open your web browser and navigate to the web page you would like to print.

Hold down "Ctrl" while repeatedly clicking "-" to decrease the size of the print.

Click "File" and select "Print Preview," then "Page Setup," then deselect "Shrink To Page Width."
