How to Make an International Call From Your Home Phone Using Comcast

by Riz Khan

Placing an international call from your home phone using Comcast phone service is a simple task. It requires the complete phone number, including the area code and international country code for the region to which you're placing the phone call. You also must dial the exit code for the United States before making an international call.

Pick up the receiver of the phone, or press the button used to make a call with a cordless phone.

Dial "011," the U.S. exit code, on the phone, followed by the phone number you want to call. Make sure the phone number includes the international calling code and the area code. See Resources for help with finding the complete phone number, including the country and area code, for specific regions.

Listen for the called number to ring and be answered. Hang up the phone to end the call.
