How to Locate an Address by Phone

by Lawrence Stephens

Locating a person's address by using a phone number can be accomplished easily. By using a reverse phone number search, you can easily find the address that is assigned to the phone number, as long as the number is not private or a cell phone number. There are several phone number search engines on the Internet that will allow you to look up the address by phone number. One free service is "AnyWho," which is operated by AT&T.

Open your computer's Internet browser. Type "AnyWho.com" into the address bar.

Select the "Reverse Lookup" option in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Type the 10-digit phone number into the text box under "Find a Person by Phone Number."

Click the "Find" button. The name and address that the phone number is assigned to will appear. If there is more than one person associated with that phone number, a list of all available names will appear.
