Apple iTunes is multimedia software that is used to buy and play music and movies. Once you access the iTunes store, you can purchase music or movies. These files are then downloaded to your personal computer. This software is a requirement for anyone who purchases an iPod, iPhone or iPad device. This is because iTunes is the graphical interface for adding files, applications, music and photos to your Apple device. You sync this information to and from your device for the purpose of transferring information and backing up your device against information loss.
Hardware Requirements
In order to download iTunes to your Acer computer, the computer's hardware must meet specific requirements. ITunes requires a personal computer with a 1 gigahertz Intel or AMD processor. Your Acer computer must have at least 512 megabytes of RAM. Your Acer settings must have a screen resolution of at least 1,024 by 768 pixels with a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card. You also need an Internet connection to access the iTunes store.
Software Requirements
In order to download iTunes to your Acer, the computer's software must meet specific requirements. Your Acer computer must have Windows XP Service Pack 2 or a newer Windows edition in order to run iTunes. You also need 200 megabytes of available disk space. If you are in need of a screen reader, it must support Window-Eyes 7.1.1 or later.

Go to the Apple website and click the link to Download iTunes. You need to provide your email address in order to begin the download process. Once you have the install program on your computer, double click the setup program to begin the installation process. Once the installation process begins, click on the "Run" button to continue. Your computer begins the process of installing Apple iTunes on your Acer computer.
