How to Install an Adobe Printer Driver

by Mikhail Polenin

Adobe's PostScript printer driver lets you print very clear images with higher definition than the native drivers that come with your printer. Although not a substitute for your printer's native drivers, it gives your printing results a higher clarity than the standard for such a driver and works alongside it to communicate with the printer. You must go to the Adobe website and find the PostScript driver in order to install it.

Go to the Adobe PostScript download page (see the link in Resources).

Choose the English PostScript driver from the list of drivers, and click its link.

Click "Proceed to Download."

Click "Download Now," and choose where to save your file.

Open the file where you downloaded it to, and follow the installation instructions when it completes the extraction for your installation files.
