Windows Mobile 6.0 is an operating system developed by Microsoft for smart phones and mobile devices. The interface for Windows Mobile bears a few resemblances with the Windows operating systems for desktops and laptops, although they process in different ways. The "Command" prompt is a command line interpreter where instead of clicking on graphic interface-based instructions, you type commands to execute a task. You can access the "Command" prompt from the "Run..." menu in most computers. However, accessing that menu in Windows Mobile 6.0 is a bit tricky.

Power on your smart phone device with Windows Mobile 6.0. Make sure you are at the home screen page.

Press and hold the "Action" key, which is the middle button of the direction keys.

Tap and hold the clock in the top right corner of your screen.

Tap to select "Run...".

Type "cmd" without the quotes and tap the action key again. This will launch the "Command" prompt.
