There are millions of AM, FM and satellite radio programs around the world. If you don't have time to listen to your favorite radio program, download it from the Internet to be able to listen to it whenever you wish. Internet users have the capability to download and even record their favorite radio programs at any time with special software or user privileges.

Step 1

Download and install a software application on your computer that allows you to record your favorite radio programs from the Internet and listen to them at a later time. A couple of examples of software programs with these features are Applian Technologies' Replay AV software and WireTap Studio by Ambrosia Software Incorporated.

Step 2

Add your favorite radio program to the software and set recording options so the program can record at the correct time. Refer to the particular software application's how-to manual for specific instructions. The basic process involves following a series of steps to find the radio station that runs the program, locate the time and date of the program and set the Internet radio software to record the program. Completing this process allows your favorite radio program to be downloaded to your computer. Some software applications even have preference settings that allow you to choose in which file format to save your favorite radio program, such as MP3 or WAV.

Step 3

Find the website of your favorite radio program as an alternative to downloading an Internet radio software program and sign up as a "fan" of the program if applicable. Many radio programs allow listeners to sign up as free or paid members, giving them the opportunity to download archived episodes of the programs as MP3 or other audio files.
