It is very important to keep your computer updated. Windows Update keeps your computer secure and regularly provides enhanced compatible features for your software and hardware devices. You can change the settings to allow updates to be installed automatically or manually. You can also download Windows updates from Safe Mode.

Boot your computer to Safe Mode. Restart your computer and press "F8" repeatedly during the booting process. The following screen will show you a list of booting options. Select "Safe Mode with Networking" and press "Enter."

Go to the "Start" menu. Type "Windows Update" into the search bar and click the "Windows Update" icon.

Enable automatic updates. Go to the left side of the screen and click "Change Settings." Under "Important Updates," select "Install Updates Automatically."

Go to the left side of the screen and click "Check for Updates." This will show you the latest updates you need to install.

Click "View Available Updates," select the updates you want to install and click "Install."
