Philips Digital Photo Frame devices have an internal memory store, allowing you to transfer pictures directly to the device via a USB connection. Transferring images over USB is a convenient way to use images that are already on your computer with the Digital Photo Frame, enabling you to view those images on the device without having to first copy them to a memory card. In addition, copying images to the Digital Photo Frame's internal memory helps you to protect your pictures against loss by creating an external backup of those images.

Step 1

Connect the Digital Photo Frame to your computer using its USB cable.

Step 2

Point your mouse cursor at the upper right corner of your screen and then move it down to open the Search box. Type “This PC” (without quotes) into the box, and then click on the “This PC” menu option to open the File Explorer.

Step 3

Select the photo files you want to transfer using the File Explorer and then right-click on one of the files. Select “Copy” from the context menu.

Step 4

Select the Digital Photo Frame from the File Explorer side pane, and double-click the “Album” folder to open it. Any images stored in this folder will become accessible through the device's menu system. Right-click inside the folder and then select “Paste” from the context menu to copy your pictures to the device.
