How to Copy Video From a Mini-DVD to a Computer
By TS Jordan
Mini-DVDs are a fairly standard format for certain camcorders, allowing you to store your recorded data on files contained on blank, miniature DVDs. Transferring this information to your computer can seem daunting until you realize that your standard DVD drive is also capable of playing mini-DVDs as well, making your task that much simpler.
Step 1
Open your DVD drive.
Step 2
Insert the mini-DVD into the smaller circular area in the center of the drive's tray.
Step 3
Close the drive.
Step 4
Right click "Start" and click "Explore."
Step 5
Click on the DVD drive letter. Drag and drop the video file to any other location on your hard drive.
