How to Convert to an ISO File

by Mitchell White

If you have a virtual disc file that's in a format such as DAA or BIN, it can help to convert the file to a format, such as ISO, that is more universally used by virtual CD programs. You can do this using a virtual CD program you can download for free online that can make the format conversion for you.

Download a virtual CD program such as Daemon Tools or PowerISO. Click on "Download Now" to start the download.

Open the installation file for your virtual CD program. Click "Next" through each screen until the program installs.

Open your virtual CD program, such as Power ISO. Click on the "Open" button at the top. Double-click on your virtual CD file in the browse window that appears.

Click on the file in the box on the left in the main screen. Click "Copy" at the top. Click in the circle next to where it says "ISO." Click "OK" to convert the file to ISO.
