How to Clear Your Browser Cache in Internet Explorer 8by eHow Contributor
Internet Explorer 8 stores every image, Web page, cookie and anything else you download in a cache. You should regularly clear this cache of any items that are no longer needed. When you do, you free up more space on your computer's memory, which allows your computer to work faster and more efficiently. Clearing your browser cache will also help to protect your privacy.
Start up Internet Explorer 8.
Click on "Safety." Select "Delete Browsing History" from the drop-down menu.
Check the box next to "Temporary Internet Files."
