How to Check a Yahoo Mail Proxy From an Anonymous Proxy Server

by Diana Braun

Businesses and schools often place restrictions on which sites users can visit over their networks. If Yahoo! Mail is one of those blocked sites, you will need to use an anonymous proxy server to check your Yahoo! mail. The proxy server hides the IP address of the websites you are visiting, allowing you to surf with complete freedom and access websites that are otherwise restricted.

1

Launch a Web browser and navigate to a Web proxy server. Popular Web proxy sites include Web4Proxy, ProxyWebsite and ProxyEasy (see Resources).

2

Type "login.yahoo.com" into the address bar located inside the Web proxy page.

3

Press "Enter."
