The keys to increased sales on eBay are listings that attract buyers and a custom eBay storefront that instills trust in the seller. The default settings are adequate for simply listing items for sale, but personalizing the look and feel of your store can make you stand out from other sellers and encourage customers to click around and explore. One of the quickest ways to customize is to change your color scheme.

Step 1

Navigate to the Ebay site and log in.

Step 2

Click "My Ebay" at the top right if it doesn't automatically populate after you've signed in.

Step 3

Click on "Manage Your Store" under My Subscriptions on the left side.

Step 4

Click “Change” at the top right.

Step 5

Click “Edit Current Theme” in the Theme and Display section at the top right.

Step 6

Select the colors you wish to modify -- primary, secondary and accent colors -- selecting your shade from the color palettes or entering the numerical hex colors in the "#" boxes. Refer to the hex color code page in the Resources section.

Step 7

Click "Save Settings."
