AT&T Uverse is Internet Protocol television that offers subscribers television, land line and wireless phone service and Internet service. According to AT&T, Uverse is the only fully integrated Internet Protocol available on the marketplace, as of June 2011. The service syncs your home phone, television and Internet and, according to AT&T, gives users greater flexibility for using the home's technology than traditional cable or satellite. To fully utilize Uverse television, users need a Uverse remote control. If your remote is broken, order a replacement directly from AT&T; they are not available for purchase at AT&T stores.

Internet Ordering

Order a replacement remote for your AT&T Uverse television through AT&T's Uverse website (http://att.com/equipment/accessories/tv-remotes.jsp). To order the remote, click on the "add to cart" button next to the remote you have chosen. By clicking on that button, you will be directed to the shopping cart page, which will show the items you plan to purchase. If you need to order additional items, click on the link that says "continue shopping" on the upper left-hand side of the page. If you do not need additional items, click on the green "order now" button and you will be directed to a page where you can enter shipping and credit card information. You cannot have the remote charge added to your AT&T Uverse bill.

Phone Ordering

Replacement remotes for your AT&T Uverse system can also be ordered by calling AT&T Uverse directly at 800-288-2020. You will need your AT&T Uverse account number of the phone number listed on your account for service. When you call, you will be given options by an automated system. Tell the system you need to order new equipment and your call will be transferred to a live attendant. The phone system is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern time and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The automated phone system is available 24 hours a day, but you can only reach a live attendant to order a remote during the hours the system is open. When ordering a remote over the phone, the charges can be added to your bill or you can pay using a credit card.
