The Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop includes a DVD/CD Combo drive to handle all of your disc playback and management needs. Burn a CD on the Insprion to create a back up of your valuable files, or to play on a standard DVD player. The Inspiron's operating system has a native burner utility, so you will not have to worry about purchasing additional software just to burn your files.

1

Insert the blank CD-R into the Inspiron's disc drive.

2

Click the "Burn files to disc using Windows Explorer," in the Auto Play window that appears.

3

Type in a name for the CD in the "Disc Title" box, and click the "With a CD/DVD player" option. Click "Next" to open an empty folder to stage the burn process.

4

Drag the files you want to burn into the empty disc folder. Hold down "Ctrl" to select multiple files at one time.

5

Click the "Burn To Disc" button to write the files to the CD. The disc will be ejected once the files are completely copied.
