It's always a good thing to get your business number out to as many people as possible, thus increasing awareness of your company and potentially gaining more customers. But if you use an iPhone and don't want your number going out to acquaintances, there's a way to block it from showing up when you make outgoing calls -- regardless of whether the recipient has a mobile phone or a landline.

Step 1

Power on your iPhone and navigate to the home screen.

Step 2

Touch the "Phone" app icon, then press the "Keypad" icon at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3

Type *67 before typing the phone number you want to dial. Press "Call" to begin dialing. Your number will now appear as "Private" or "Blocked" on the recipient's Caller ID.
