How to Adjust a Westinghouse Monitor

By Greyson Ferguson

Westinghouse produces computer hardware from hard drives to monitors. If you have a monitor from the Westinghouse company you can edit the settings of the screen. This gives you the ability to increase or decrease the brightness to your liking and even change the image size. All of the adjustments are made directly on the Westinghouse monitor so you can avoid using the actual computer it is connected to.

Power on the Westinghouse monitor. Although you do not use the computer you should power it on so you can see an image in the background.

Press the "Menu" button on the monitor, then scroll through the list of options you can adjust. The options are presented with images and each time you highlight an image the text describing the icon appears.

Select the "Brightness" icon then press the "+" or "-" button to increase or decrease your brightness. Push the "Menu" button to return back to the previous screen.

Choose "Image location." With this selected you can move the actual image on the screen up, down, left or right. This allows you to adjust the orientation of the image on your monitor.

Edit any other settings you want to with the buttons on the monitor. You can always change the settings later. Most likely you are going to change the settings when watching a movie or playing a video game.
