The NextBook series of Android tablets make ideal e-readers, with screens 7-inches or larger. In order to manage an Android device from the "Manage Your Kindle" page, you must have the Kindle app installed. Amazon offers the free Kindle app for Android devices running 2.3 or later. The app is available from either the Google Play store or the Amazon Appstore.

Install Kindle for Android

To access and manage your Kindle books and documents on your NextBook tablet, you need to install the Kindle app for Android devices. The Kindle app is available from the Google Play store. If your NextBook model does not come with the Google Play appstore installed, you can install the Amazon Appstore on your device and install the Kindle app from there instead.

Activate Your App

Once the Kindle app has installed, open the application on the NextBook. You will be prompted to log in to your Amazon account. Use the Amazon account associated with your Kindle. The first time you log in, you will need to authorize your device and give it a name. Once you've authorized the NextBook, you can read your Kindle books, sync items and manage content sent to your NextBook on the Manage Your Kindle page.
